Ramkund Step Well

This is basically a bird's eye view of the interior of the step well, showing it's mandala-like design. At the top of the image is the two level temple. The incredible thing about stepwells is that they are really inverted architecture, and one doesn't see them until one is just above them, looking down into them. The wood used for the water is a grey-dyed English sycamore.
